Bottle @Ulfborg. Clear pale golden, no head. Heavy almond aroma, totally suppressing any honey. Sweet flavour, honey, almonds much more subdued here. Some light honey spice, almonds ok balanced.

ABV: 13.5%. Clear light yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is honey, alcohol, almonds, almond - mandelessens - marzipan. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet, honey, almond, mandelessens - marzipan. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20220107]

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Clear golden without head. Aroma is sweet, honey and extreme almond essence. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Oily and soft.

Bottle from sister in law. Vintage 2013 Pours clear gold. Barrique, spicy, honey. Tastes sweetish obviously, sticky mouthfeel, light spiciness, well rounded. Very nice sipper

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Clear, pale amber/maple color, still. Soft, sweet, cinnamon & almond nose. Nutty sweetness, earthy cinnamon, sweet & subtle all spice, soft oxidation. Mellow, coating, tasty spiced mead. Good.

Bottle @TreeRock. Made with linden honey. Clear, vibrant 14k gold. Clover-ish honey, grain, warming wax scent. Syrupy, smoked, maple, wax, lingering nutty sweetness. Some acidity. Good, but got better as it sat.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. On their list as Apimed Dark. Clear, dark, maple color. Waxy, bittersweet, leafy green. Maple, smoked, bittersweet, stumbling towards a sugary cereal sweetness. Oxidized, cooked down apple juice sticky, toffee beer. Bit goopy, very smokey, sweet & boozy. Okay.
