Description
Beachwood Blendery is a small batch beer producer established in 2014 by the same creative minds behind the award winning Beachwood Brewing. Beachwood Blendery has embarked on an undoubtedly geeky quest to recreate the Lambic style beers of Belgium. Our beers are produced using ingredients, equipment, and brewing methods that are both steeped in tradition and admittedly modern.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very complex, with lots of floral dry hopping, lambic-style wild yeast, and light funk. Flavour is complex, bringing out a lovely mix of lambic-style wild yeast and floral dry hopping. Not an authentic lambic, but closer to one than a regular American sour; and the dry hopping works beautiful. Lovely stuff.

Draught, Loyal Legion. Hazy, pale amber. Thin head. Bretty, fruity nose has some nice complexity. Tart, brett, definitely quality...complex...would drink a lot of this.

750ml bottle thanks to Eric. Pours out a hazy pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is guava pineapple sweetness and some funky tartness. Taste is more of the guava pineapple tart lemon and a sour funk.

On tap at The Loyal Legion, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of wood, with light lacto and woody oak barrels. Flavour is similar, with lots of wood, light acidity, and a touch of citrus. Finishes on notes of citrus and wood. Good stuff.

750 c&c shared by Marcus. Pours gold with a transient white head. Aroma is mildly, pleasantly funky. Med body or so. Flavor is more lambic than quite a few USA beers labeling themselves as lambic.

Bottle. Chillhazy golden color, white edge head. Aroma has dusty sweaty wet blankets stored in attic corners covering dusty grapes. Taste is softly sour white wine, tannins, subtle lemon. Boy, American brewers and blenders are getting better and better at lambic and gueuze inspired stuff.
