Flesje met nummer 388 / 999 gedeeld met Benzai en Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig bier met stevig schuim. Aroma is fruitig en zoet. Smaak is vol en zoet. Jammer dat de smaak vlug weg ebt.

Bottle shared by Inoven @ Inoven rates 1k tasting! Clear reddish color, small to average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, peat, sweet, alcohol. Heavy. Too heavy and peaty for me.

Donkergeel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig, licht zoetzuur en kruidig met iets van gember. Aparte maar niet onaardige smaak.

Bottle at De Heeren van Liedekercke, shared with Anke and Pieter.
Pours cloudy dark brown with a lasting, foamy, tan head. The aroma contains coffee, licorice, roasted malt, hops, dark fruits, some banana, chocolate. It tastes medium fruity and chocolatey sweet and light hoppy bitter, with a toasty finish. Medium body, slick/oily texture, soft carbonation. If I remember correctly, this was offered to us as a Stout; could have been a Scotch or Belgian 'Dubbel' for all I know. Anyway, it did the job as a dessert beer.

Pours hazy dark red with a big, frothy, lasting, pink head (though strongly gushing). The aroma contains cherries, hops, wheat, some iron and herbs. It tastes medium fruity sweet and light to medium herbal (tea-like) bitter, bit hoppy; only very light sour; slightly dry and metallic in the finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy to lively carbonation. This beer is all over the place but going nowhere.

Pours hazy yellow/ochre with a foamy, white head. The aroma contains bitter & fruity hops, flowers, spices, yeast, grapefruit, herbs, grass and banana. It tastes light flowery sweet and medium hoppy bitter; bit dry and spicy finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy to soft carbonation. Nice, flowery aroma; just the right amount of bitterness and enough yeast to balance it all. A very good Belgian IPA!
