Bottle sample at the Mead Museum, pours a clear golden blonde. Aroma brings out a more floral, almost citric character to the honey. Flavour is quite sharp, with a citrusy character to the honey, some floral notes, richly sweet and alcoholic. Unusual but this works well. Very good.

Flavour is rich, sweet and boozy, with a deep honey nectar character, light beeswax and a nice alcoholic warming character. Strong and assertive but clean and well-balanced. Very good.

Pours clear, a lighter kind of golden pale blonde. Scent is peach-from-a-can, sweet, not very fresh and vibrant as you encounter a peach in - for instance - lambic . Taste is super smooth , the sweetness of the fruit completely blends in with the sweetness of the basemead. Very fruitforward, but so damn ( alkaline) soft it gets a bit soapy - would benefit from a bit of acidity I recon. Liquid candy, but not in the intesified, mindblowing american way. This seems a bit over the top, making it (contradiction?) underwhelming. Still, a fairly nice mead !

Pours clear, medium colored golden blonde. Scent is very lavender forward, lots of herbal aspects, kindof overpowering the base mead . Taste is full, smooth and deifnately sweet. Lots of herbal (lavender) aroma. Still, honey is recognizable. Alcohol a bit too high and a bit too much on top. In a way, I really don't like meads (or other drinks) this herbal and fairly unbalanced, on the other hand, I get the appeal, and it's not bad at all... A very special mead that sure is a great devider I supose.

Pours clear, darker amberred. Scent is very herbal dark fruits, kindof overpowering the honey even. Taste is full, smooth, sweet, intense fruits ( not jammy, but jammy in intensity) like liquid candy almost. Not nearly as herbal as the scent made me expect. Full on intensity, but perhaps just a tad too simple.

Pours a salmon-pink amber, like a rose wine almost. Scent is pronounced, yet very gentle honey. cherries are very hidden. Taste is full, fullbodied too. Nice sweetness (high), very mild on the cherry, but oh so smooth. noticable alcohol, even at only 11 % . Buttery softness (not buttery aroma) , liquid sugar with complexity. just a tad of acidity by the fruit, but barely any fruitaroma. Lovely for what it is.

Pours a pale, golden blonde. Scent is mild, the least expressive of the five different honey - meads I've had by them. Mild generic honey, very smooth, not very funky at all. Perhaps just a tad herbal. Taste is full, smooth, medium sweet, mildly floral. Very dense compared to the others, more 'closed' in terms of aroma's, but not in intensity of smoothness and sweetness. perhaps a mild bitter touch, and just a bit to much alcohol to me. Very decent, just not all that special.

Pours a clear, golden blonde. Scent is sharp, medicinal, twigs, herbal. Taste is sweet (more so than other specific honey-meads by this meadery). A twig-like, herbal character that makes it quite bitter, miild and sharp funk, Not my style, but as a Linden Mead, this isn't too bad to me !

Pours very pale and light lemonyellow. Scent is Sharp, bit herbal-like (dried herbs) , bit clinical, noticable alcohol. Taste is sharp, medium sweet. very 'clean funk' , herbal bitterness, medicinal sounds very off, and this simplyy isnt, but the bitterness does make it a bit towards medicinal to me. It's ok, just not my personal favorite.

Pours ambered gold, scent is full, expressive, more caramelly than the base. medium loud only. Taste is medium sweet, but very fullbodied. has an almost flesh-like aspect (cured raw meat, with loads of fat, like Secreto 07) which is a character I can't explain or known previously in mead, but I do like it ! Very nice mead !
