33cl can. Head is medium, tanned, not long lasting. Colour is black, opaque. Aroma is roasted tones, tobacco, bit nutty, ash touch, dark chocolate, bit coffee. Taste is full malty base, roasted tones, coffee, cocoa, coconut, chocolate, nutty, dark caramel, decent bitterness, soft carbonation, not really complex yet quite good, enjoyed for sure.

On tap at Kaķis Maisā, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma has sweaty, washed out hops, with some bready malt in back. Flavour reveals a tragically bad hop expansion—sweaty, armrpity, just tired and muffled. How do you use such a great hop bill and produce such a crappy hop expression? It’s not the hops. This ain’t good.

300ml draught shared with Finn at Alus Muiža. Cloudy golden body, a few spots on the glassware, disappearing head. Modest wheat fruity nose. Wheat and oat milk to the taste profile. Prolonged, rather sweet ending. Little to offer. (Riga, 09.11.2025).
