Description
In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.

(Keg at Juova, 20260416) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, black currant leaves, citrus fruits and lightly pineapple.. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, black currant leaves, citrus fruits, honey and bitterness. Aftertaste had black currant leaves, pine and bitterness. A tasty hoppy brew with strong bitterness.

440ml can. Slightly cloudy, orange golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and piney hoppy aroma, pale and caramel malty background, notes of orange grapefruit, pineapple. Taste dito.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Crisp, refreshing - very good.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, a nice soft creamy sweetness. Hops bring light soft pine, good hop spice, really bites. Soft but rich hop fruits, soft citrus and stone fruits, a little tropical fruits. Airy finish, long hop spicy finish. Robust.

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady white head, spotty lacing, unclear golden body. Promising aromas of pineapple and peaches. True to the style with a taste of pineapple, grapefruits, and wheat. Semi-dry juice fruity ending. Just okay and refreshing, just a bit boring though. (Tromsø, 11.04.2026).

Panda thanks to Cloin. Hazy gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, a thin but adequate creamy sweetness. The 2 experimental Kiwi hops deliver plenty of punch. A fair savoury skunk nip to start but then juicy and slightly floral citrus, tangerine and mandarin. Hop spice starts to bite. Mild melon into a little tropical fruits. Some of the NZ hop 'otherness' runs throughout, flavours that, for me, are hard to map to known flavours. Light finish leaves a hop spicy linger. Good dipa. New hops, well presented in a good punchy drinkable dipa.
