In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. Apart from the vegan bit. We’re bad at being vegan, but our beers are great at it. We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully you will love them too.
Originally based in Falmouth with a small site on Tregoniggie Industrial Estate, in 2020 the brewery relocated to Penryn with a significantly larger premises and taproom at Kernick Industrial Estate.

Can at Drinkoteka, huge thanks Barba & Elena for sharing! Milky golden body, off-white head. Grapes, resin, herbal notes and grapefruit, largely Nelson-driven, of course. Lean, dry, soft taste, sweetish some citrusy and grape notes, bit oaty, some NZ herbs, sweetish. Nice, didn't rock my world, but this is quite well made!

Tap at Drinkoteka. Clearish golden body, off-white head. Herbal, resinous hoppy aroma, some grape, bit papery. Sweetish taste, mild, light grape notes, jelly, bitterish finish. Too many distractions with the first beer for better notes but it was a decent one!

440 ml can, probably from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 5.5%. Black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of roast malts, black coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Flavour with the same elements, decent bittering hops.

Cask at Sutton Arms, Barbican, London. A golden coloured pour with a decent sized bubbly white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange, gooseberry, pine. Decent bitterish tasting Westy. Always good to find a Verdant on cask in London.

Pm tap at Radnor Arms Folkestone. Clear gold colour. Lasting white head. Really lovely flavours. Good pine flavour. OK bitterness. I liked it. More my style. Hides abv well.
