Description
Independent Brewery producing a wide range of Cask, Keg, Bottled and Canned beers. Products available direct from the on-site shop and tours are available about twice a month. Most beers are now gluten free.
From modest origins in July 2011, which saw Nene Valley Brewery operating with just a two-and-a-half-barrel facility, the company moved into its new riverside premises at the end of that year and now operates a 15-barrel installation. Brewing is undertaken once a week with a range of products distributed to local pubs, wholesalers and direct to the public.

Handpull cask at the Nene Valley Brewery Bar, 2018 Nottingham Beer Festival. Light to mid-gold, somewhat hazy. A little bit of very loose and uneven white head. The fresh orange juice aroma comes through well in the aroma, along with some tropical fruit and a hint of bubblegum. Refreshing bittersweet taste. It's more bitter than sweet, but it mellow a bit in the long finish. Citrus hops in the aftertaste. Tasty, but a little bit too anonymous to stand with the best pale ales.
