Keg halfpint at The Waterman, Cambridge - at £4.30 for a half. ABV 6.5%. Pitch black colour, tan head. Surprisingly moderate but nice aroma of roast malts and chocolate cake. The flavour has also notes of roast malts and chocolate, but is not very sweet. Moderate hops.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, tropical fruit, sweet malt, fruity hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Charters Bar in Peterborough. Low white head over an amber-gold body. Dotted spots on the glass. Moderate citrus nose, hints of lemon. Malt-fruity flavours, impact of lemon, orange and bread. Drying, short bittersweet finish. Satisfying. (11.02.2019).
