0.33 l bottle from 'Hopfenrausch', bottled in January 2019. Slightly hazy, pale golden with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, fairly funky, a bit sourish, gently fruity-floral and a bit grassy aroma of lots of barnyard, hay, milk, manure, some gooseberry and a touch of citrus. Minimally sweet, moderately dry, rather funky, slightly fruity-floral and a bit grassy taste of barnyard, manure, hay, grains and some citrus, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite dry, rather funky finish. Thin to medium body, fairly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not really convincing, there's just loads of brett and that grainy character from the Chevallier malt which doesn't seem to be a match made in heaven. Disappointing.

0.33 l bottle from 'Hopfenrausch', bottled in January 2019. Hazy, ruby with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, sourish, fairly fruity aroma of blackcurrant, elderberry and some lemon. Gently sour, quite dry, fairly fruity taste of blackcurrant, elderberry, some lemon and a touch of blackberry, followed by a medium long, quite tart, gently dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Easily drinkable and refreshing but not very deep. Surely well-made, a nice thirst-quencher with high potential during the upcoming spring and summer months.

Flasche gekauft im Beereau in Berlin-Mitte. Trübes Orange, wenig Schaum. Etwas säuerliches Aroma, Getreide. Geschmack: leicht süßlich. Getreide, Orange, vergorene rote Früchte. Wird fruchtiger und moderater.

Bottle at home from the great Biervana, 2nd March 19. Pours off clear, peach colour. Aroma is yeast, fruit. Taste is fruity, light citrus, farm, a little yeast, a bit watery. OK

Bottle from SinH4. Pours purple with fairly big and frothy white head. Strong cassis with citrus, hay and a bit of bitter grains. Lingering cassis at the edge of the tongue. A tad watery, but taste is there.

Bottle. Hazy yellow color with large creamy white head. Aroma is dough, rustic, barnyard, light grassy hops. Taste is dough, ancient barley, fruity hops, mild yeast, light citrus tartness. Soft silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Quite balanced, quite fun!

Clear brownish. Aroma is cherries slight funk almond vanilla a bit berries. Taste is sour funky with sweet malty juicy body. Very drinkable. Interesting.

24-11-18 // taster at 4. CraftBeerMesse Mainz. Murky reddish purple pinkish. Sour fruity nose. Tart red fruits, black currant, cassis, puree like. Very refreshing.
