Draft glass @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. Orange, creamy white head. Nose is big soap, zest, esters, citrus soap, lost spice. Taste is lemon & all soapy, grainy, los t spice. Body is grain & big soap. Not awful but a massively soapy Belgian in taste.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly transparent gold with very fine white foam. Aroma is delicate herbaceous, also a little spicy. Body is slightly dense with good carbonation. Taste has a good sweet base, with traditional bitterness, giving further herbaceous/hay feeling. Finish is long and bitter.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours kind of pale gold with fine white foam. Aroma is somehow lemony, spiced. Body is tendentially light with moderate carbonation. Taste is relatively sweet, conforming the lemony feeling despite lack of astringency. Finish is short.

From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly haze with fluffy white foam, not very finely grained. Aroma is hay and spices, some citrus and a alcoholic feeling too. Body is a little light, with lots of carbonation, feeling very fresh. Taste is a nice combination of sweet (in the beginning), bitter, and spicy. Finish is short and clean.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata scarica, leggermente torbida, schiuma media persistente. Al naso bel bouquet di agrumi, arancia, scorza di limone, leggero lievito. In bocca è agrumata e spinge sull’amaro, manca un po’ l’aspetto saison e pecca di beva. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-leggera. Da rivedere.

Tap at Luppolo Station (Rome-Italy). Cloudy dark amber/orange pour, medium white foam with good retention. Nose is orange peel, orange flowers, spicy and lemony. Mouth: frizzy, silky spicy, quite bitter yes...hoppy and super clean/dry.

On tap @Bir&Fud (Rome). Dorata, torbida, schiuma bianca medio-leggera. Al naso leggrra spaziatura, scorza di limone, erbaceo. In bocca è discretamente equilibrata, ma le manca spunto, risultando un po' timida e priva di personalità. Corpo medio, inferiore alle attese, carbonazione medio-bassa. Così così...
