Canned 8/28/25, drunk 4/6/26.
Malty with light honey, cookies and bread. Good and round with obvious proper lagering giving a clean, crisp finish. Hops are low, but this is also 8 months old. Some mild, dried herb lingers.
Crisp, with ample bitterness and lots of breadiness, carbonation and texture, though it's still on the dry side. Doesn't have the rich, deep, honey-like malt you see in a lot of American examples; rather a more dry, breadier character. But equally satisfying and the peppery herbal hop character is very well-done. Balanced and flavorful. A shame I never made it to their brewpub.

Draught @ Lily's, New York (April 2025). Hazy dark yellow with a very small frothy off-white head, faint citrus aroma, adeuate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel, peach taste, thin body, long finish. Interesting flavors.

From tap at Alewife, New York. Nicely hoppy Pilsener with grainy malt, soft herbal and floral notes. Bit sweetish, light to moderate bitter. Not your typical Pils, good!

From tap at Alewife, New York. Sweet and malty with an aroma of resinous hops, caramel, ripe grapefruit, resin, almost a bit buttery. Moderate to medium sweet flavour with a long medium bitter finish. Sweeter than I expected, malty, resinous hop, not very fruity.

On tap at Craft & Carry UWS, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is all messed up, with perhaps some diacetyl, estery notes, and fuzzy peaches. Flavour is fucked tons of diacetyl, estery notes, and fuzzy peaches. All sorts of things wrong here.

Old rating from notes. Purple beer, not really an IPA but OK. Some sweet malt, then milk sugar and vanilla.
