Opening Bash. Pours black. Baklava, hazelnut, chocolate, pistachio, not too sweet, little roast. Medium body. Pretty solid.

On tap at Gebhardt Beer Culture. Pours a clear light gold with a white had that dissipates to the edges and laces slight. Aroma has a good amount of hay with some earthy grass and a light straw note supporting. Flavor has a nice straw and grass note with a growing hay and just a touch of melon in the finish.

Draught @ Cooper's Craft Kitchen, Manhattan (Jan 24). Dark brown with red highlights, small foamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter caramel taste with faint spicy flavor, thin body, long spicy caramel end. Smooth.

On tap in NYC (Beer Culture I think). Cola brown, white head.  Nose is malt and baking spice and brown sugar.  Flavor has the same.  Medium bodied.  Dry finish.  7 4 7 4 12

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, nectary, some oaty and mild apricot tones. Flavour is floral, some bitterness, mild earthy and grassy tones with some nectar, lactose and some slight mango tones.

Can, from Beer Boutique, Brooklyn. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a very small frothy off-white head, lemon aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lemon peel-pineapple taste, thin body, long lemon peel finish. Smooth and tasty.

Tap. Clear deep golden color with white head. Aroma is piney, toasted malts, grapefruit. Taste is the same, marmalade stuff. Oily mouthfeel, medium to high carbonation. Not bad!
