Cask: Poured a thick orange with a thin white color head. Aroma was toasty spices and sweet molasses. Taste was a interesting blend of roasted coffee, light maple/molasses, and malts. Had an overall smooth silky, but flat cask texture.

Draft: Poured a light brown with reddish orange edges, the head was off white. Aroma was full of spice and malt. Taste was roasted malt with nice hot spice, hints of rye alcohol finish.

Draft: Poured a brown with copper edge tones, the head was thin and bubbly. Aroma was dark fruits and sweet malts. Taste was a blend of toffee, dark fruits and malts. Left the palate very dry and longing for more.

Bottle 750ml. corked @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG12, Ulfborg.Clear dark dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, caramel, chocolate, dark chocolate, alcohol, light wood. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, bourbon, dark malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warm alcohol. [20120818]

bottle pours hazy gold with a medium white head. Aroma is crisp pale malts and a citrus/estery note that is kind of hard to place. Flavor is crisp and clean pale malt, crystal and cereals. Ends with a nice green apple fruity tart yeast flavor. Very refreshing.

Bottle thanks to Tim, pours motor oil black, and thick as hell too. Medium dark brown head. Aroma screams barrel. Big bourbon, sticky molasses, oak, and chocolate. Flavor is much the same, there is substantial roast dryness here which is nice standing up to the sweet vanilla bourbon notes that round things out. Perfect example of a BA imp stout.

Bottle thanks to Tim, pours bright hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma is part cider and part funky yeast. Flavor is not as funky as the nose leads on but has some Belgian yeast tartness much like the seasonal from this brewery. Nice clean light malt bill with the fruity/yeast tartness finishing nicely. I like it.

thanks to Tim for the hookup on this, and in the new 4th Ann glass to boot. You rock! Pours dark brown with a huge light tan head that leaves a nice lacing the length of the glass. Aroma is really nice and have tremendous depth. Big toast and nutty malts, the rye whiskey is apparent but finessed well as it only complements. Flavor is extremely rich, caramel and light roast notes blend with nutty character and big wood in the finish. This is awesome stuff, and one of my favorites from this brewery.
