Bottle 330ml. [ As Rodenburg Bronckhorster Dubbel ].ABV: 7.5%. Clear medium to dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, anis - star anis, "Jägermeister". Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, Jægermeister, spicy, star anis. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

From tap at Wildeman. Pours hazy dark orange to brown with a small white head. Aroma is smooth malty, caramelish and light roasted mixed with a light fruity note. Toasted malty and caramelish, sweet, light spiced and dry phenolic.

On tap at PRNH Meibockfestival ’12. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma is light malty, fruity, light caramel. Flavour is light malty, fruity, light caramel, nice light malty and hoppy bitter finish with some roasted malts. Light to medium bodied. Nice beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy opaque dark brown with an off-white head. Roasty aroma with a distinct sourness. Medium body, roast and rotten fruit and then again this very massive infection. Ends, dry, fairly bitter and again....heavily sour. A pity. 030412

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden deep brown with a small tan head. Aroma is overripe fruity and dense dark malty. Light salty and metallic. Smooth dark roasted and minerally. Salty and overripe fruity. Bitter and toasted malty finish.
