On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Pours amber witha medium white head. Aroma is malty, light smoke, cheese, nice. Flavour is delicate smoke, light malty with a light bitter end. Light body, a bit watery, medium to light carbonation. Easy but nice.

Rating from 2009. Schöne dunkel Bernsteinfarbe. Der Antrunk ist mild-süßlich. Im Hauptteil wirkt das bier etwas flach, ganz leicht malzig und dabei auch etwas brotig. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, malzig-süffig und nicht zu herb oder sonderlich tiefgehend. Schade. 8/12/7/7

Tap(Fest der Staffelsteiner Bierbrauer 2014): Presumably deep golden and hazy (served in a Stein…), small off-white head; mild grainy nose, some noble hops detectable; barely moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively soft; shy grapefruity-piney aromas in the slightly lingering and soft hoppy finish.Nice, but not completely convincing…

At the Bad Staffelstein Bierfest, 15 August 2014. Deep amber with a frothy, off-white, head. Big, mandarin fruits throughout, with plenty of grassy hops, light malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

At the Bad Staffelstein Bierfest, 15 August 2014. Deep amber with a frothy, off-white head. Sweetish caramel notes, some bready malts with a slightly toasty edge, leading to a soft finish. Enjoyable.

On tap at the Brewpub. Leicht trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher cremigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, minimal rauchig, Schinken. Geschmack angenehm rauchig, Schinken, leicht röstmalzig, etwas fruchtig.

4.9% On tap at the brewery. A straight down the line weizen. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Estery aroma leads to a cereally flavour and then a spicy hoppy finish. Interesting character. I liked it. The clove hop bite on the finish is good.

4.8% Clear mid brown colour thin beige head. It’s pretty good. Fine a tasty mid brown Landbier clean well made . Ok some sting on the finish
