Black color with small brown head. Mild aroma of roasted malt. Similar to the Nr. 23, it has a nice flavor of dark chocolate shavings, but it’s rather dry for the style; some roasted nuts; correct bitterness, but it’s a bit stale in the final.

Murky amber color with creamy head. Nice aroma of malt and hops. Full bodied, with quite good malt flavor, light fudge/toffee, and a delicate oak note; lean but rich of emotions; regular bitterness; light astringency in the final.
Can be refined a bit, but it’s very nice.

Bottle, 6%. Smokey aroma, the slightly burnt-rubber type of smoke. Clear golden colour. Small frothy white head. The flavour is smokey and only slightly rubbery. Taste a little like peated malt, whisky malt, but fortunately not as sweet as many whiskey malt beers. Not bad, actually.

Bottle @ Wannsinchen / MiP bliver gammel. Pours clear amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of tar and smoke, with touches of hops. Bitter and smoky flavour, with notes of hops and yeast. Rather thin and watery body. Lingering, smoky aftertaste. I like smoked beer but this one simply cannot sustain the smoky component.
