Bottle - Nougat and light sweet honey. Pale gold, clear with a nice white head. Ever so light, light herbs and a wisp of honey and a clean light alcohol finish. Really nice.

Bottle from Vínbúðin
Black color with generous brownish head. The aroma is modern, combining coffeeish malts and C-hops; some bread. The mouthfeel is quite dry, the body is lean; the roasted malts assume just a small character of coffee; strong bitterness, with hidden hop resins in the final; impression of lactose.
A good beer.

Bottle at Nord (inside Keflavík International Airport)
Pale blond color with small head. The aroma is fresh, a bit citrusy. Smooth mouthfeel, simple flavor, with delicate lemony touch; correct bitterness.
Simple but pleasant beer for the summer.

Medium offwhite head. Clear deep yellow body. Smoky fruity aroma with barnyard notes. Dry-sweet salty smoky taste with spicy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry salty barnyard and smoke aftertaste with spicy wooden notes. Interesting, but not something I’d drink very often. (0.33l bottle, 73, Reykjavik.)

33 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, BBE 18.05.2014
Aroma has soy sauce, licorice, roasted malt and cocoa typical to massive American ISs. Flavour has alcohol, soy sauce, licorice and some cocoa. A licorice-IS that could use a stronger body - that would also hide the alcohol.
