Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Clear, golden colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with fruits, grass and cardboard. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with grass and cardboard. Rather uninspiring, not unpleasant.

Pours brown, brown and thin layer of foam. Aroma not really there, maybe too too cold - but not getting much even when it warms. Taste is warming, sweet, alcohol kick and liquorice with some dark fruits. Beer for a cold winter night. More like a sweet porter for me, not so much of a stout. Good.

33cl bottle from Drink Shop, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Moderate malty and fairly fruity with mild notes of Belgium yeast and caramel. Quite sweet, with noticeable alcohol, but still fairly decent quite drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of ÁSTRÍKUR NR.18 on 01 Jan 2015 at 01:34 - Score: 6
