Description
We are a modern craft brewery and tap room founded in 2014 in Rivington. Focusing on innovative modern styles, while drawing inspiration from the past.

Our inspiration comes from the world over, but our focus is very much local. We concentrate on making the best beer in styles we love, for the people in our local communities. Our passion for the North West is paid back tenfold. We have local landlords who buy whatever we make, no matter the style - from barleywine to grisette - we’re really lucky that so many places support us because they like our beers, and their customers love to try anything local. The people we look up to are all the brewers who are never content with the beers that they’re making - you can always be better.

Bottleshare at Craft Islington. Hazy amber brown beer, small cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, dry cream and caramel. Dry orange peel and citrus pith. Smooth finish finds softer ripe orange and a little creamy malt sweetness. Not bad but lacks maturity and depth.

Keg @ Plug & Taps, Preston. Black-brown with an off-white creamy head. Has sweetened roasted malts evident in both aroma and taste, and is quite smooth. The sum of these parts hides its strength well, and behind a crispness.

330ml bottle bought at Priest Town Bottle Shop, Preston Market. Shared with Finn. Off-white head, cloudy orange-brownish body, spotty lacing. Rather perfumed fruity nose, hints of lime. Fruity taste profile, impacts of lemon and lime. Discreet fruity bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Accepted, far from great. (Hotel room 09.02.2019).
