Description
Established in early 2012 by Ant and Kate Stevens, Ledbury Real Ales is focused on producing a small range of high quality cask conditioned real ales. All our beers are made from hops grown in Herefordshire and Worcestershire with other materials sourced locally where possible. Our beers are sold mainly within a 15 mile radius of the brewery which allows us to meet one of our main aims of creating a local product for a local market.

Half-pint, cask at Prince of Wales. A rustic glint to a off-black body, spotty lacing from a remaining beige head. Slightly roasted malty aromas, hints of dark fruits. Mixed taste profile of caramel and stewed fruits. Lightly roasted malt-fruity finish. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Ledbury 01.02.2020).

Delt med Rune på Prince of Wales, Ledbury. Ultramørkebrun /svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Aroma av lettrøstet malt. Smaken svisker. Litt syrlig bitter avslutning.

Cask at GBBF '19, day 3, 08/08/19. Golden blonde with an off white head. Nose is grassy, lemon rind, light breads, toasted grains. Taste comprises orange zest, pale malts, light breads, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok cask pale.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2019, [ Great British Beer Festival 2019 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, Greater London, England W14 8UX.

[ As Ledbury Dr Rudi's Extra Pale ].
ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, butterscotch, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190808]

8/8/2019. Cask at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours clear golden with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, fruit, citrus, caramel and resin. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average carbonation. Dank, hoppy finish.

Cask @ Chesham Arms, Hackney. Clear golden-amber with a small head. Has a berry-fruit nose but this is less stated in its taste, and has a low bitterness.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 26 May 2018) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, toffee and dried fruit. Malty taste with caramel, dried apricots, toffee, dark fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

Cask-conditioned at Gloucester Beer Festival, 31/3/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of pineapple and tangerines, with a grassy hop kick. Flavour had plenty more fruits, some biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Good.
