Draught at Gulu Gulu Cafe, 1/13/18.
Very gentle, chill-haze. Amber-to-dark-copper with bright magenta highlights. No head.
Light, "sticky" candi sugar-like traces (wax, caramel, pepper) with light clove and black pepper phenols from the yeast. Malts show light caramel and honey, with a pretty good depth overall and fairly minimal on the bready/specialty malt character. Light orange zest-like character lingering with no alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's soft and malty with no overdone specialty malt character nor heavy candi sugar or clove phenol. Good acidity on the end from yeast with strong attenuation and a dry, medium body overall. Flavorful with a great fermentation profile. Very nice.

4 oz. sample at the brewery. Aroma and flavor has the pineapple right up front. In the back end of the sip coconut is found. The bitterness is low because after all, everyone is using lactose to sweeten up their IPA’s. It is really fruity and sweet. Hard to call it an IPA because it’s all pineapple and coconuts.
