Bottle from Growlers and Cans' stall at West Byfleet Farmer's Market. Aroma had a fruity bitterness to it plus a buttery popcorn. Copper gold. Bubbly translucent white head retreats to the rim. Tangy sour streak over sweet malts. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish - the latter seems to get stronger as I drink more. A dose of tart sourness doesn't hide the unpleasant malty sweetness. And it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Bottle bought at the Growlers & Cans stall, West Byfleet Farmer's Market. Aroma is sweet, almonds and glue. Golden brown. Bubbly frothy translucent white head is short-lived. Light-medium bitter. Sour berry edge. Actually quite tart. Underlying hints of malty sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Better than I was expecting - neither bland or overly sweet.

Bottle bought at Growlers & Cans' stall at West Byfleet Farmer's Market. The sweet nutty gluey marzipan aroma hits the nostrils well before the glass is a anywhere near them. Bronze. Clear. Thinnish foamy off-white head. Light sour berries swiftly followed by grainy bitterness. Nutty sweetness develops, it's more obvious into the finish. Light bodied. Oily almost claggy mouthfeel. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. It's not bad. Would happily drink a few pints of this in a local pub. But ultimately it just seems basic.

Hand-pulled pint at the Pheasant Inn and Brewery, Wellington Shropshire on 29th Oct 2020. Clean and clear amber body, smooth white head with good lacing. Slight caramel feel to this one, hop twang also, twiggy finish.

Many thanks to Mark. Fantastic malty mild beginning. Very dry, chocolate malt, dry caramel. Very smooth, nice malty caramel with a smooth malty bitterness in the end. Great Ale characteristics, smooth and mild.

Keg at the Hare & Hounds, Brighton. Pours gold with a small head. Aroma is vegetal notes and mango hop. Taste has mango hop and carbonated water with a bitter finish.

Fra cask på GBBF aug-19: klar gylden med ok skum. Florale toner, mild furunål og gress. Tørr bitterhd i afslutningen. Flat mouthfeel and distinctly forgettable.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190807]
