For a lower abv cask hoppy beer, that is cracking. Super easy drinking but nice and hoppy, with a little bitterness in the finish. (Leftside)

The term 'Cash & Carry' predates how we understand it in modern commerce. During WWII US policy stated that nations at war could purchase goods from the States but had to pay up front and transport it themselves. I purchased this upfront and transported all this mild tropical fruit session beer down the palate.

Gravity cask at the ue Boar, Leicester. Light to mid-gold and very hazy with a loose off-white head. Big white grapefruit aroma, some lemon zest, a touch of passionfruit. Sweet taste. Lots of grapefruit. Lots of hop. Bitterness in the finish. Light body with soft to nil carbonation. Not an overly impressive beer but not bad either.

Beer Number #11 at the Clitheroe Beer Festival 2025. Hoppy, some fruitiness, very local design for this beer, traditional enough for this isle.

Handpull cask at Drink Valley Old Town, Swindon. Light gold and clear with a thin white head and lots of lacing. Sweet, fruity and slightly medicinal aroma. Taste of grapefruit and orange pulp, a little astringent with a drying finish. A very English take on the hoppy pale.
