Unit 7, Bewdley Craft Centre, Lax Lane, Bewdley, DY12 2DZ, England
Description
We are a small group of people who are passionate about beer. So much so that we decided to bring a brewery back to Bewdley.
It has taken a lot of hard work and determination but we hope you'll agree it has all been worthwhile. Together we bring years of experience from within the industry and by just enjoying a good quality pint!
We brew on a 10 barrel plant which produces 2880 pints per brew. We have capacity to brew four times per week, and so this gives over half a million pints per year.
Wild River is our craft and keg arm of the brewery.

500ml bottle. Dark ruby, thin white head, minimal retention; not great. Aroma of malts, liquorice, berries, earth; very nice although you tell its fairly light bodied. This proves to the case but has a nice soft carbonation. Taste is toasted malts, liquorice, berries, nice bitterness, slightly dry. I enjoyed it.

Bottle direct from the brewer, and another golden ale to boot! Pours gold, thin head, no retention. Aroma of biscuit malts, mild spice, a zesty fruitiness. Taste is is hoppy fruit notes, biscuit malts, a little spice, nice bitterness in the finish. A good moderate body considering the ABV, moderate carbonation. Another good gold from Bewdley, probably one of their better ones as well due to the body and a good hoppy bitterness.

Bottle direct from the brewer. Pours black, brief small beige head with plenty of fizz, no retention; not great Aroma of roasted malts, smoke, chocolate, dark fruits; very promising Initial taste was almost all burnt malts. I had left the bottle out the fridge for 30 minutes but wasn't enough. Came back to this 30 mins later and taste was roasted malts, smokiness, chocolate and a little blackberry in the finish with a moderate bitterness, the smokiness coming through again at the end; wonderfully complex flavours Body is a little watery and so doesn't compliment such flavours and is frustrating although I appreciate its a 4.3 ABV. Low carbonation is fine. Overall a very flavoursome and complex stout. Great brewing again by Bewdley, consistently good.

Bottle from the brewer. Pours clear gold, thin head, some retention. Aroma of citrus, grass, ginger beer. Taste is lemon citrus, light bread malts, moderate and dry bitterness in the finish. Not picking up any spice notes in the finish sadly. Light body and moderate carbonation. Overall another decent refreshing gold from Bewdley.

Bottle from brewery. Pours gold, small white head with good retention. Curtailed citra hop aroma without the cats piss. Taste is light, lemon and lime citrus notes, grass, mild flora, mineral. Light bitterness in the finish. Light citrusy beer being an alternative to lager on a sunny day. Not bad for what it is.

500ml bottle from the brewer. Pours gold, thin head, some retention and quite fizzy in appearance. Aroma of a light chocolate orange. Taste is quite sweet, with biscuit malts, zesty orange, a hint of chocolate, a little dry. Nice bitterness in the finish to balance this brew. Lightish body, nice carbonation. Not the most exciting beer but its another well made one from Bewdley. Quite enjoyable
