16 oz. can. Dated: 08-16-21. Aroma is lemon with grapefruit peel. I get the lemon upfront with grapefruit in the center and ending on a mild pine bitterness. Still shows a little bit of juice in the texture. It’s pretty respectable and easy to drink.

Draught at Dorchester Brewing, 9/9/21.
Clear, deep bronze-golden-honey. White head fades steadily to a ring.
Lemony-citrus hops with a dab of caramel in the nose. Creamy-sweet honey with an almost corn-like edge to it.
In the mouth it's got punchy lemon rind alongside caramel-like maltiness. Weird mix. Bit of a syrupy sweet finish. Some sourness from over-toasted malt or over-boiled hops. Unclear which. Reasonable attenuation but could still use more. Lemon acidity growing soapy to almost pine sol-like, on the finish. Not good.

Draught at Canary Square, 9/4/21.
Heavily hazy, bright tangerine-golden with a small, off-white head that steadily fades to a ring.
Hmmm. Nose is pretty weird. Some saccharine-like character, light pine, and almost like old orange juice that has/is going bad. Not much in the way of hop clarity and it's too muddled to get much from the malt either. Mostly just compound flaws.
In the mouth it's heavily saccharine with bizarre flavors - perhaps the lactose interacting unfavorably with things. Moderate bitterness and stale citrus notes on the end with a watery, somewhat sluggish texture and light notes of booze on the finish. Just a complete drainpour. Did not drink more than a few sips.

16 oz. can purchased at Fattey Beer Co in North Tonawana, NY. Pours a super dark brown color with root beer highlights and a thick tan head with very good retention. Decent lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malts and light coffee. Similar dark roasted (almost burnt) malts flavor with less coffee flavor than the aroma, and a little bitter dark chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel with a dry finish. Very Guinness-like.

16 ounce draft. Aroma is yeast and coriander. Flavor is yeast and wheat with that herbal coriander in the finish. It is about normal for the style. Nothing huge to report.

Draft. Deep purple color. Vanilla upfront with a pleasant sweetness that turns into a very tart blueberry and finish. The 7.5 is completely hidden.

Cloudy orange body, medium off-white head. Nose dank, spicy, and catty, in addition to pineapple. Interesting body, floral and spicy, with spruce and stone fruits, not particularly juicy, but creamy and full. Distinctive and delicious.

Cloudy orange body, medium cream head. Nose earthy and juicy with sugared citrus rind, pineapple, and stone fruits. Body creamy and soft, with abundant citrus rind, blended with stone fruits, lychee, and hints of pineapple. Finishes with an earthy bitterness. Dry on balance.

Super hazy deep straw, golden and raw honey coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall pure white head that leaves a nice, subtle lace on the sides. Aroma of papaya, guava, melons and especially mangoes with a lot of malt noticeable, some lighter alcohol and residual sweetness, but a surprisingly strong amount of fruits in the nose, all from the hops, seemingly. Medium-bodied; Very rich, creamy and lactosey feel at first with a lot of malts dominating along with some melons, papaya and yes, mangoes again that bring out a subtle sweetness and perhaps a dash of pine, all coming through with hardly any bitterness nor alpha acids - this has to be pretty low in terms of IBUs, but the hops are clearly here. Aftertaste is slightly dry with a good melony kick that adds to the body and presents a solid package that is mostly malts with little hops, not much sugars but tons of fruit flavours - very nice, robust and extremely concise in the flavour and profile it provides. Overall, a nice and robust beer that seems more like an Imperial IPA much more than I expected in terms of body, but of course, this just about makes the cut as a 'plain' New England IPA and nowhere close to Imperial status. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 21-December-2020 for US$4,69 sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-August-2021.
