Description
We, Sharp’s Brewery, are a modern brewer of cask and bottled beer based in Rock, Cornwall, and owner of the UK’s number one cask and bottled beer, Doom Bar. We’ve grown rapidly to become the largest brewer of cask beer in the South West.
Sharp's Brewery was founded in 1994 by Bill Sharp. The brewery has been through three phases – from a small micro brewery, to a larger facility within the same building and finally to the current phase that has seen the Brewery extend its premises to accommodate more vessels and increase its brewing capacity. Since 2011, the brewery has been owned by Molson Coors.

Foamy white head stayed on a well carbonated clear amber coloured body. Faint citrus & grain aroma. Medium bodied, soft & sticky on the back. Malt, grain, bubble gum & stone fruit tastes with a tangy finish. Nicely balanced.

Cask-conditioned at the Beaufort Hunt, Chipping Sodbury, S Gloucs 31/5/2024. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Biscuity malts, a touch of lemon and tangerine fruits, leafy hops, and a moderately dry finish. Good.

Tastes like unfermented wort not nice at all. There are much better 0% beers out there.

Half-pint, gravicask, shared with Finn at The International Brewing & Cider Festival 2024. Low white head, misty golden body, clingy lacing. Mid-sweet aromas of dried fruits and soft malts. Ripe citrus fruits, apricot, and mid-sweet malts to the taste profile. Malty-fruity ending notes. Fair enough. (Manchester, 23.03.2024).

Bottle at AndrewC. Clear ruby colour. .no real head. Slight oxidised. Raisin bit of spice. A little nutmeg maybe. Not exactly thin body but it could be plumper. Yes raisin. Yes some Christmas cake fruit. Its fine but would very better fresher.

Who'd have thought that my first cask beer of the day would be in somewhere called Molly Malone's...
