75cl Bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - deep golden going into orange/pink. Nose - generous but dry blackberry, with light sweetness, then tartness and tang of the saison yeast. Taste - it delivers as expected. Lovely zingy, blackberry, but all held beautifully within the tight saison structure. Palate - close to medium bodied, long enduring middle and finish. Intense, tight and long structure. Overall - wonderful stuff. Possibly beer of the year so far.

Cask @ Coracle, Ironbridge. Clear amber, small white head. Lightly sweet malt on the nose. Taste is generally fine as a standard bitter, could be sweeter, lightly bitter.. lacking the depth others seem to have found in bottle unfortunately. Overall expected a little more vibrancy, even for a bitter.

330ml bottle from Bottle & Barrel, Aberystwyth. Lightly misty pale gold appearance, small white head. Bretty wild nose, white wine. Taste presents a lovely chardonnay influence to a nicely presented wild saison character, subtle sabro influence. Soft floral shades. Crisp and refreshing. Really nice.

Bottle, via the brewery online shop. Soft haze on a pale gold. Decent foamy white head. Nose has old, dried lemon. Some soapy brett. Bready grain. Some soapy flora. Taste is a little sweet, and a little dry. Very light on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Light dry finish.
