Keg at Brewdog Reading. Pours almost clear chestnut amber with a beige cap. Aroma: malty, caramel, light Belgian yeast tones, smky hints. Taste: Light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter, slightly funky & spicy, some tartness, light esters, somewhat boozy. Medium body with fine carbonation. Not your average ESB but no surprise given the collaborators. Enjoyed it

Keg pint. Pours a relatively clear gold, good white head. Aroma of doughy lager malt. Flavour profile is of a doughy sweet lager, bready with a pleasant, balanced character, excellent drinkability, with a gentle bitter close. Really great pilsner.

Keg. Pours a hazed blonde with a voluptuous bubble bath foam head. Aroma from the off is floral belgian yeast, continuing to taste. Fantastic vibrant Belgian blonde character, balanced sweetness, floral, just an excellent example of the style.

440ml can from a deli in Llangollen. Pours a russet brown, off-white head of foam atop. Aroma is leafy, autumnal malt. Taste builds on this with a woody leafy malt character with biscuity elements, second sip affirms a really satisfying malt presence with a good balanced bitterness. Really good brown bitter this.

Hazy straw coloured with a bubbly white head and a fruity nose. Proper fresh and fruity flavour with a hint of earthy, yeasty something or other. Excellent refreshing palate cleanser

Cask @ Shrewsbury Real Ale Festival 2023. Misty golden yellow, good white head. Floral citrus aroma. Taste brings fruity citrus, earthy hop notes, pale malt. Pumpclip describes it as 'folk pale', and who am I to argue against that?
