Can from Craft Bar Pitmedden. Started fizzing outta the can when I took it out my bag! It pours hazy golden - orange with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is musty, brett, funk, stanky damp basement, earthy, dull honey, wet leaves, touch of spice, lactic twang, natural yoghurt, fragrant, floral, elderflower and daisies. The taste is crispy, dry, firm, dry, woody, tannin, fragrant, floral, daisies, grass, bready malt, snappy biscuit, twist of citrus, slightly soapy, toasty grain and cereal with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Interesting funky ale. Previous raters perhaps a touch mean... Has some depth.
