Description
Established since 2002, Blindmans Brewery can be found at Talbot Farm in Somerset amongst the cows. The brewery is a five barrel plant in a converted Milking Parlour. The brewery is fairly unique in having its own exclusive water spring which is carefully quality controlled, guaranteeing consistency. All ingredients are procured locally wherever possible, with malt supplied by Warminster Maltings, traditionally germinated on open floors in a process spanning centuries.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2006, Ramsgate. Very dark brown with ruby edges. Thin beige head. Bit of liquorice/coffee and some choc on the aroma. Quite carbonated in mouth. Some sourness and more coffee in mouth, syrupy liquorice on the finish. Some sour damson fruit. Not a bad porter but a bit too syrupy and sour for me. 2.6/5 re-rate at County Hotel Ashford. Good condition good mouthfeel some chocolate. Fine
