Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, orange and fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. 181018

Cask på John Wallace Linton, Newport. Kobberfarget. Lavt tett stabilt skum med litt farge. Aroma av sitrusfrukt. Smaken plommer. Litt tørr syrlig ettersmak.

#sxshare Super clean and well made. Strawberry laces. Cedar. Oak. Would work brilliantly with cheese and a proper fire beer. Reminds me of Thomas Hardy. Ace.

From recently unearthed notes from August 2016. Keg at the Rake, Borough. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Nose of apricot jam, tangerine, orange. Flavours of sweet citrus, apricot, tangerine, caramel. Lots of sweet fruit in the finish. Good stuff.

ABV: 3.7%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180807]

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, very modest fine carbonation. Smooth and mildly sweet malts. Little orange peel. Touch of bitterness. Smooth and semi dry finish. Standard stuff.

Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Very active out of the bottle, providing a bubbly head to a deeper golden ale, which is fuller-bodied hoppy ale through its strength. This isn't overbearing.

Cask, half pint at Three Pigeons. Creamy fawn-coloured head, spotty lacing, copper coloured body with a rustic shade. Indeed, good looking! Dark doughy nose, mid-sweet. Taste of toffee, bread. and caramel malts. Mid-dry malt driven end. Medium to thin bodied. Quite pleasing. (Halifax 03.07.2018).
