Handpull cask from Ealing Park Tavern. Amber, fairly clear, with a small white head. Goody resinous smell which has to compete with a vegetal squashy note and a hint of rubbing alcohol. Bittersweet taste with that vegetal note again. Finish is much more bitter and sits complacently at the back of the tongue and the throat for a long while. Heavy bittering hop on the aftertaste. Pretty good all in all.

End of the Cask sample from the Rake. It pours cloudy bright orange with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is rich, sweet, juicy, stewed orange, tangerine and marmalade. The taste is bitter - sweet, juicy, grassy, earthy, spice, stewed orange and some alcohol. Medium body body and fine carbonation. I was worried this was going to be a bit too sweet, but the balance works out pretty good.

Cask at The Euston tap as "Elderflower Pale". It pours clear pale gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh floral, straw, bread and some stone fruits. The taste is crisp, quite clean, elderflower, toasted grain, straw and some citrus peel with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty refreshing stuff.
