Cask at the Queen Hotel (JDW), Aldershot. A bright, pale amber pour with a ring of white head; some tropical fruit aroma; sweet at first with tangerine and pineapple flavours, and a grainy body; then a strong grassy bitterness, with a lingering finish. Pretty good.

Cask at EBF ’18, 10/08/14. Clear light golden with a decent off white head. Nose is citric peel, earthy hop notes, straw, light spice. Taste comprises lightly skunked hops, nettles, bitter lemon rind, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Great condition - fresh on, makes all the difference with a GB for me and this one was pretty decent.

Cask at the Rose and Crown, Sandhurst. Straw with a loose white head; floral aroma with a touch of citrus; fresh herbal bitter taste from the start, grassy with a grainy body; and lasting, pleasantly bitter finish. A satisfying and interesting pint.

Cask @ GBBF14. Smooth roasted nose. The beer starts intense, vanilla with a nice roasted stout-body. Interesting, but fits great! Roasted hints, Espresso, coffee and nice smooth vanilla. The aftertaste is smooth, vanilla & roasted malt, nice bittered, not too intense, highly drinkable, great!
