Description
John Wilkinson owner & founder of 4T’s Brewery, worked as a drayman for Tetley Walkers (Warrington) and always explored the brewery grounds, from there he opened his own pub in 1998 called Wilkies Tavern which is now named The Tavern Sports Bar, which is a well-known cask ale pub in Warrington. His dream was to always start his own brewery and produce the styles of beers he loves.

Jordan Millington head brewer of 4T’s Brewery, worked at The Tavern Sports Bar since 2007 and always had a love for real ale. John gave him the opportunity to join the rising of 4T’s and he loves producing beers that everyone will love resulting in the slogan “satisfying taste buds everywhere”.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Brownish gold, clear with a scummy film of white head. Tannic iced tea, yeast rolls, toffee on the aroma. Taste is sweet and very malt-led with a light citrus flavour. Long, sweet, malty finish with suggeationa of hop bitterness for balance. Ok.

Very pale blond colour with no head. Aroma and flavour are skunky and cheesey. Problems here.

Black with lasting thin head. Aroma has intense roasted peanuts. Almost savoury. Flavour is a bit less intense.

Really pale colour with creamy head. Aroma is bizarrely intense and perfumed with sweet mango. Flavour is less strong but is really dry and clean. Good but perhaps a bit artificial.

Red brown with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have very weak malts. Quite watery. Not much hop or sign of Simcoe.

5/10/2019. Bottle from Crosby Beer Shop shared at the Wroclaw GP bottle share. Poured clear bright bronze amber with an average sized bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, fruit, flowers and a hint of spice. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Have had worse from this brewer.

Really bitter and dry. Loads of late hops. Amped-up hops but too much. Needs some balance but there is potential

Cask @ Mallinsons Corner, Huddersfield. Very dark red with a creamy-frothy head. Has very sweet stated lingering cherry notes and a decent mild texture behind this, but perhaps too dense tasting.
