Cask at the borough, Lancaster. Pours pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, green herbs. Taste is bitter, a big bitter punch, but nice. Creamy texture, light body. Bitter finish.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is buttery caramel light hop. The flavour is light bitter with a soft slightly watery hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Messy, bubbly, sticky, white head. Light aroma of grassy hop. Sweet malt. Bit of lemon. Taste is zesty bitter. Crisp palate. Finishes long, zesty bitter. Decent enough quaffer.
