Gravity cask at the 2018 Leicester Beer Festival. Deep golden, slightly hazy with a ring of white head. Delicious aroma of pink grapefruit peel. Bittersweet taste, very well balanced. Grapefruit bitter hop rests neatly on the tongue for the long finish. Sleek, oily body. An excellent cask IPA.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2017 [ The 42th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 10th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As 4T's Big Daddy IPA ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, pine, citrus, grapefruit, earthy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, pine, sweet malt, fruity hops, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Waggon & Horses, Halesowen. Pours black with a medium head. Aroma is milk chocolate, fudge and mocha. Taste has sweet chocolate and roast to start. Chocolate and fudge on the finish.

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are really bitter with resinous hop. Thick. Quite oily.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 5. 12/08/2017. A dark jet black coloured pour with a loose light tan head. Aroma is charcoal fire lighters, paraffin, apple, ashy roast,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet black roast, tangy apple, black ashy malts. Palate is tangy, milky, ashy finish. Meh. Ok.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity - fruity hops, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, pale malt, hop bitter, light tropical fruit - pineapple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
