Bomber - fizzy, cola-like pour - this seems to be suffering from the early onset of an infection - oxidation, stale maltiness, a papery character - a mild tartness that seems like it would have soon turned into a sourness - this seems to be a problem with their bottled products - seems like it was probably a good stout when it went in the bottle, though - coffee, toasty character, bittersweet chocolate - but it is all subordinate to the infection - moderate acidity in the finish - maybe they just need to stop bottling?

Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. Hazy copper colour. Very decent. Hoppy. It’s a decent hoppy beer with a touch of pink grapefruit on the flavour. OK-ish.

Tap at the brewpub. Pale gold/white head. Strong chile aroma. Near med body/light carb. Flavor is chile [Hatch green chiles]. Nice chile flavor - not a great deal of chile heat. Very nice flavor.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours black with tan head. Burnt malt aroma. Fullish body/creamy carb. Flavor is smooth burnt malt - and I think I get the oatmeal aspect. Plus it is nicely hopped. Very, very good.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with beige head. Resin aroma. Med body/creamy carb. Lots of resin and some citrus over sturdy caramel. Quite tasty.

Tap at the brewpub. Brilliant ruddy amber with a beige head. Malty aroma. Medium body/firm carbonation. Roast malt flavor with grassy hop. An oktoberfest more tasty than many.
