Cask at GBBF 2016 09/08/2016. A clear golden orange coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweaty grains, green apple, meh. Flavour is composed of tangy dried fruits, bready nutty malts, tangy grain. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, lowish carbonation. Boring .

500ml bottle from The Offie, Leicester. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of sweet malt, lemon and varnish. Taste is sweet malt, honey tinges, sweet finish.

Bottle. Appearance - amber with a decent thin head. Nose - orange and bread. Taste - citrus and wholemeal bread. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly dry finish. Overall - a decent ale.

Bottle.Nose is biscuit, butterscotch, floral hops, slight fruitiness - quite affable. Taste is light caramel, biscuit, slight herbal hops, slight citrus in the short finish. I don’t understand why you would set up a micro brewery to make beer as bland and pointless as something from Green King. It’s not a terrible beer, it’s just a mediocre example of why parts of British brewing is in the doldrums.

Bottle. Nose is licorice, chocolate, slight smoke, lactose, calls to mind a West Indian stout. Taste follows; licorice slight, coco, lactose, hint of coffee. It’s a lot blander than the nose and the finish is very short. Mouthfeel is thin. It’s another in a long line of small British brewers, who seems to only wish to brew beer as bad as the tosh found in supermarkets.

Cask @ GBBF14. Smooth malty start. Not much deepness The mainpart has hints of grain, fresh, smooth. On the tongue stays a smooth malty ale character, not too deep but nice and easy to drink.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malty, caramel, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130813]

Dark brown w thin head. Aroma is lightly fudgey and chocolatey. Similar palate, a very straightforward stout. Fairly light body and the carbonation feels like the fermentation is ongoing.

Cask at GBBF ’13, 15/08/13. Lightly hazed dark golden/amber with a thin off white head. Good looking affair! Nose is fruits, bready malts, light toffee. Taste comprises light orange notes, floral tones, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the fninsh. Ok stuff.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear copper colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of malt and some slightly funky stewed fruit. Flavour has some bread and cooked apples, light amounts of floral hops. Ends with very little, just some light biscuity malt.
