25-02-17 // bottle from Alibi Beer Shop in Trapani. Pours a deep black beer, with light beige head. Nose is coffee dominated. Taste is not really strong enough for a Imperial Stout, it lacks some body and got a light watery texture. Still some nice coffee aroma, light chocolate and liquorcie.

25-02-17 // bottle from Alibi Beer Shop Trapani. Hazy light yellow beer, solid white head. Nice banana fruity nose. Taste is light banana, bubble gum, yeasty. Quite nice.

Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 5th April 16. Pours hazy with floating bits. Aroma is honey, sweet caramel, yeast. Taste is sweet, honey for sure, caramel, candy. Quite nice

Bottle on balcony, La Plumeria, Cefalu, 4th April 16. Pours a copper colour, little or no head. aroma is caramel, bitter, slight iron. Taste is caramel, bitter hops, slight chocolate. Reminds me of Brewdog 5am Saint, very nice, not an APA, more of an amber

Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 2nd April 16. Pours a thin slightly see through black ale with lots if floaters. Aroma is sweet, roasty malts, liquorice. Taste is reasonable liquorice, toasty and roasty, marmite, slight saltiness. OK

Bottle on the balcony at hotel in Sicily, 31st March 16. Pours straw colour, aroma is pleasant, hay, slight citrus. Taste is clean, slight subtle hops, some citrus. Really nice

On tap @ Artigiano in Fiera 2015, Milano. Il gusto al naso riporta sentori di luppolo. L’intensità olfattiva è elevata e la persistenza olfattiva è discreta. Il cappello di schiuma è messo insieme da bollicine fini. La sottostante frizzantezza è data da bollicine fini dalla carbonazione bassa ma persistente. Il colore è ambrato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. La struttura è cremosa. L’amaro è deciso. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. I sentori in bocca appartengono al caramello, frutta secca, luppolo, resina e agrumi.
