Description
We've been brewing in New Mills since 2015, based at the Marina and opposite the famous Swizzels factory.
Our name comes from the other major landmark of the town, the Torrs - a park set in the 70-foot-deep gorge cut by the Rivers Goyt & Sett, that the town stands above and around, where many of the town's mills used to stand.

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of smoked malt, copper and green banana. Flavour of honey, lightly smoked malt and apricot. Medium to full body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. An interesting, well balanced beer for the ABV.

Keg at Crow Inn, Sheffield - Jet black body, thin tan head. Lots of dark chocolate at play, slightly bitter, but quite effervescent and that bulks it up a bit. Enjoyable.

Cask at Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield - Clear flat dark amber pour. Big barley sugar nose, feel the booze in the nose and the warmth. You know you've had this one, leaves you tingly.

Handpull cask at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby. Light to mid-gold and clear with a loose off-white head. Slightly astringent aroma with some lemon merengue and agave syrup.no hint of the intense ginger to come. The taste is full of spicy ginger, eclipsing the bittersweet character of the beer beneath. Long spicy finish. Light body, soft carbonation. More than a spot of ginger that's for true, but I can hack it.

Bottle. Xmas gift from the missus. Opened fairly noise-lessly. Black pour. Thin beige foam. Not a whole lot of fizz here. Nose has dark chocolate malt. Light roast. Some char. Faint whiff of savoury smoke. Taste is a little sweet. Some bitterness. Fine carbonation. Decent body. Tbh it drinks like a porter or stout. Probably down to the oat addition.
