Cask @ Knott Bar, Manchester. Golden with a creamy head. It's bland hoppy but its lower strength has much to do with this, although it's very easy to sup. Is a tad watery.

Cask, third, shared with Finn at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Brewery Microbars. Almost black in the glass, spotty lacing, bubbly surface. Promising aroma of berry-malts. Pleasant taste of oat, dark berries, and liquorice followed by a lightly roasted ending. Well balanced. Pleasing. (2nd day at the festival 23.01.2020).
