Yard of Ale has been brewing on-site since 2008. In that time we’ve provided beer to an increasing number of Pubs, Clubs, Beer Festivals and Specialist Suppliers.
Initially set up as a cask ale supplier, Yard of Ale can now supply its Award-Winning ales in various formats - from traditional 9g cask to one-way carbonated kegs to Mini-Kegs, Bag-in-Box and Bottles.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Dried fruit, biscuity malt and nuts in the aroma. Malty taste with notes of earthy hops, citrus and biscuity malt.

Cask (gravity) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium yellow color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, malt, pale malt, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130125]

Cask (William Jameson JDW, Sunderland) -Copper in colour. Earthy hops, sultanas and caramel in the aroma. Malty and moderately hoppy taste with dried apricot, caramel and sultanas.

Cask at The Half Moon, Darlington. Golden amber colour, thin white head and slight malt aroma. Taste is malty, fruity with apple notes and a light earthy bitterness. Light bodied, low carbonation. dry finish. Quite OK.

500ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington covered market. Pale yellow gold colour, foam white head leaving alittle lacing, with a malt and floral citrusy hop aroma. Tangy biscuit malt bitterness, followed by a spicy grapefruit harsh dry bitter finsh and aftertaste.
