Description
Yard of Ale has been brewing on-site since 2008. In that time we’ve provided beer to an increasing number of Pubs, Clubs, Beer Festivals and Specialist Suppliers.
Initially set up as a cask ale supplier, Yard of Ale can now supply its Award-Winning ales in various formats - from traditional 9g cask to one-way carbonated kegs to Mini-Kegs, Bag-in-Box and Bottles.

Cask @ Surtees in Ferryhill. A nice creamy mouthfeel to a clear crisp looking pint. The notes of sweet spices and fruits give this a more-ish palate and a vanilla aftertaste which is quite nice.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Fest 2011. Amber colour with small off-white foamy head. Aroma is sweet malts, some nutty notes as well as some wooden and mild floral notes. Flavour is caramel and crystal malts along with some nutty and mildly toasted notes. Also some mild wooden and resiny notes in the finish.

Cask (hand pump) at the Darlington Spring Thing Beer Festival 2011. Brown colour, low head. Nice malty aroma, hints of toffee and Scotch whisky. Dry flavour, malts and decent hops, a hint of Scotch whisky again. One of the better beers of the festival.

Cask. An amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and toffee.

Cask (handpump) @ Gardeners Rest, 105 Neepsend Lane, Sheffield, South Yorkshire England S3 8AT.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, sweet, fruity - berry, anis. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, berry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100118]

Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, 18th ’Coming of Age’ Beer Festival 29-05-10 Mid gold in colour a little smattering of white bubbles. Simple light hoppiness a bit clacky at the back of the mouth, ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask. Clear orangey brown with a creamy off-white head. Sweetish roasted malt aroma. Medium body, completely flat, roasted malt and dried fruit with some vanilla notes. Hardly any bitterness. 180110
