Dark brown amber colour, off-white foam head and malty aroma.Taste is malt, toasty, alittle chocolate and coffee, with dark fruits, sourish and earthy bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft carbonation, dry toasty bitter finish. Quite OK.

Cask at Northallerton Beer Festival 2016. Black colour, tan foam head and nose of dark malt, chocolate, coffee, some fruity hop. Taste is roast malt, smokey, dark chocolate, coffee, fruity and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is malt & caramel, fruity, yeasty, with some apricot, citrus zest and tangy bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry zesty bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
