Yard of Ale has been brewing on-site since 2008. In that time we’ve provided beer to an increasing number of Pubs, Clubs, Beer Festivals and Specialist Suppliers.
Initially set up as a cask ale supplier, Yard of Ale can now supply its Award-Winning ales in various formats - from traditional 9g cask to one-way carbonated kegs to Mini-Kegs, Bag-in-Box and Bottles.

Keg at Surtees Arms April Beer Festival 2019. Hazy yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of citrusy hops. Taste is biscuity malt, grainy, with sweetish orangey hops and tangy slightly metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK

Cask at Surtees Arms April Beer Festival 2019. Yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of citrus, yeasty. Taste is biscuity malt, grain, tangy citrus with lemon, grapefruit and metallic bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK

Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Black brown colour, beige foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of chocolate & coffee. Taste is roasted malty, dark chocolate, coffee grinds, with earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty earthy bitter finish. Quite drinkable
