Description
Yard of Ale has been brewing on-site since 2008. In that time we’ve provided beer to an increasing number of Pubs, Clubs, Beer Festivals and Specialist Suppliers.
Initially set up as a cask ale supplier, Yard of Ale can now supply its Award-Winning ales in various formats - from traditional 9g cask to one-way carbonated kegs to Mini-Kegs, Bag-in-Box and Bottles.

Cask @ The Quakerhouse, Darlington. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops, grass and has a nice bitter finish.

Cask @ Quakerhouse, Darlington. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and light hoppy - citrus and flowers. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 110220

Cask at Quakerhouse. Golden colour, white foam leaving lacing and aroma of citrusy hop, biscuit. Taste is pale malt, grain, biscuit with citrusy hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry citric bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of citrusy hop. Taste is biscuity malt with some citrus hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy citric bitter finish. Quite OK

Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Dark brown colour, tan foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of malt, coffee beans. Taste is dried fruity, malt, tobacco, ground coffee beans, with spicy tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish with ground coffee notes. Quite drinkable

Keg at Big Mash Up Beer Festival, Steam Machine Brewery, Newton Aycliffe. Dark brown colour, white foam head and aroma of zesty citrus, roasty. Taste is malty, zesty, citrus with tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Cask at Turbinia Beer Festival 2019. Red colour, pink foam head leaving lacing and aroma of berries, slight flowery note. Taste is sweet & sourish, tart, berry notes, grainy, with alittle biscuit and fruity bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry sourish finish. Quite OK

Keg at Surtees Arms April Beer Festival 2019. Hazy yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of citrusy hops. Taste is biscuity malt, grainy, with sweetish orangey hops and tangy slightly metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK
