Cask at Tanners Hall JDW Darlington. Dark brown amber colour, biege foamy head and spiced aroma. Taste is cinnamon spice, spruce, almost minty with malt, chocolate and dried fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry earthy spiced finish. Quite OK

Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity - apple. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at Half Moon, Darlington. Reddish amber colour, white foam head and yeasty aroma. Taste is slighly roasty, malt, bready, chocolate with dark fruity notes and some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying roast bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
