Cloudy brown with a short head. Aroma of malt and cinnamon. Flavour is tangy spice, cinnamon, Christmas hints all over this one.

Nut brown with a full cream head. Aroma of earthy malt. Flavour is malt and nut, hint of hazel, soft dry finish.

30/10/2025. Cask at Norwich Beer Festival (Castle Social). Beers from the wood. 9 weeks. Good pour. Aroma is chocolatey, malted, woody, spruce, coffee, slightly musty. Moderately sweet, woody bitters. Moderate body, very soft carbonation. Wood added some character.

Half of gravity cask at the Hitchin Beer Festival. You always have one at any festival and this was it. A really strong taste of ashes and really quite unpleasant. Tipped on the ground.

Cask at the Orgam grinder, Newark. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are malty caramel and slight floral. Medium body.
