Description
The pub and brewery were taken over by Jospeh Holt in 2013. Some beers are produced at a larger pilot plant at Holt's main site. From 2019 brewing was suspended at this site but appears to have resumed.

Pale amber gold with a creamy white head and a soft light malt and fruit aroma. Smooth and creamy with some floral hop character, biscuit malt and delicate citrus bitterness

(Cask at Euston Tap West, Euston, London, 21 Nov 2019) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and lemon zest. Fruity, hoppy taste with grapefruit, lemon peel, biscuits, grass and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

Keg at FC United of Manchester bar - Clear gold, fizzy head. Strong tart citric nose and taste. Very sharp on the way out.

Keg @ Horse & Jockey, Chorlton. Deeper red with a thin head. It's very sweet and not quite feeling a cider, but is close to being one. Its flavour is a red and dark berry mix.

Cask at Euston Tap. Black beer lasting tan head. Some dried raisin flavour in mouth. Tasty dark ale. Light roast. Good depth of flavour some dark fruits. very drinkable. good

Cask at The Euston Tap, West Lodge, 03/10/19. Clear golden blonde with a well presented lasting just off white head. Nose is bready malts, light citric peel, lemon zest. Taste comprises light orange peel, bread dough, lemon dusting, grains, touch buttery. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light dryness in the close. Weak golden entertainment.

Cask at the eus tap. A mostly clear gold, yellow straw coloured pour with a creamy white head. Aroma is diacetyl, buttered bread,. Flavour is composed of, buttered grains, diacetyl, some grassy hop. Palate is semi sweet, creamy, meh. Light tang, thin.

(Bottle) Clear brown with big off white head. Aroma of dark toffee with hints of veges and tea. Light body with plenty of loose carbonation. Taste of dark toffee, hints of tea, some pleasant bitterness. Easy drinking.
